Shift: 4x10 Days (10-hour shifts)

Pay: $3,100/week

Base Pay: $77.50/hour

Assignment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract at a leading medical facility in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will provide expert care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment including hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Administer medications and provide procedural sedation as necessary
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, technologists, and other nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call duties if required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (or compact license if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Experience with sedation, IV therapy, and pre/post-procedure care
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• EP Lab experience is a plus
