Registered Nurse (RN), Occupational Health - 240920 New

Join Our Team! We are currently hiring for two part-time positions: one at 32 hours per week and another at 16 hours per week.

Location: Andover, MA

Pay Rate: $47-50/hr

Openings/Schedules:

Opening 1: 32 hours/week

• Monday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Opening 2: 16 hours/week

• Monday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Role Overview:

• Evaluates patient care needs, prioritizes treatment, and maintains patient flow.
• Conducts assessments, including patient history, physical exam, vital signs, and medical tests, providing treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians or practitioners for further treatment when necessary.
• Reports equipment needing repair to lead clinician.
• Performs occupational health screenings (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) as per contract.
• Conducts lab tests and quality control procedures.
• Accurately documents nursing assessments, treatments, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Provides health education and training based on patient needs.
• Identifies emergency situations and provides care within legal scope.
• Administers medications and treatments as directed by a physician or practitioner.
• Maintains medical records, including electronic health records.
• Ensures a clean, safe environment and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Participates in follow-up calls and visits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Active BLS.
• Experience preferred: Occupational Health, ER, ICU, Urgent Care, Family, Primary Care, or Med-Surg.
